keep a short log of what driver youre on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum-drivers shows installed packages and dates). When smth breaks later, u'll know if the timing matches. good luck man!

  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts quick poll for ppl using NVIDIA hardware for 3D rendering: has GeForce Notebook Graphics Driver 302.80 treated u well? Ive seen a couple of complaints online, but complaints are always louder than happy users. Id like to hear from people for whom it just works, too. Tell me what u use it for, how long u have had it installed, and whether you had to change anything to make it behave. Even a quick "works fine for me" helps when deciding. what am i doing wrong??

  2. How bad would a day of downtime be for your daily browsing on an old laptop?

  4. been there man for daily browsing on an old laptop, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations 😅 if tehres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually teh better fit. fingers crossed 🤞

  5. read the release notes on teh NVIDIA support page before anything else, they list fixed issues and known issues... if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if the fixes dont touch u, theres no rush. worked for me anyway 🤷
