long time lurker first post lol im on whatever Windows Update installed and everything works for 3D rendering. now Intel has Graphics Driver Installer out and the app keeps nagging me :) part of me wants teh fixes, part of me remembers the last time an update gave me black screens for a week.. 馃槫 has anyone been running it for a while? :D any issues worth knownig before I click install? I would love a short, honest answer from people who have actually used it for a few weeks. thx in advance!!
Is Intel Graphics Driver Installer Stable, Or Should I Wait??
been there man my approach: make a restore point, download the previous driver pakcage sooo its ready, then try teh new one. if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one. that makes updating a low-risk experiment.
read teh release notes on the Intel support page before anything else. they list fixed issues and known issues. if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if teh fixes dont touch you, theres no rush.
for me it was the antivirus. swapped it and boom, fixed
IS THERE ANY REASON TO UPDATE ADRENALIN 2023 EDITION GRAPHICS DRIVER WHEN WHATEVER WINDOWS UPDATE INSTALLED WORKS FINE?
