  1. hmmmm ok my budget build is performing like it lost a generation... an MMO stutters in places that used to be smooth, all after the NVIDIA drievr update.

id like to measure this properly instead of going on feel. whats the right way to compare two drivers? I have both driver packages downloaded already. I just do not want to run a dozen random tests and end up with numbers I cannot interpret xD A simple, repeatable method would be perfect. im about to throw this thing out the window lol

  2. First rule out teh obvious: on latpops, check that the game actually uses the dedicated GPU. Settings > System > Display > Graphics, add teh game's .exe, set it to High performance. driver updates can reset per-app GPU preferences. worked for me anyway 🤷

yeahhh check that the driver install didnt reset ur control panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V-Sync, frame caps). A clean install resets everything to defaults, which can feel like a performance change. hope that helps :)

have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)

  4. ehh frame time tools are great but honestly if it feels worse and the old drvier feels better, rolling back is a valid fix too. idk maybe im wrong lol
