  1. After installing NVIDIA GeForce Notebook Graphics Driver 337.88 i've had stuttering in every game on my gaming desktop. Fine, i'll just roll it back. Except teh Roll Back Driver button is greyed out, and when i uninstalled it Windows put a driver back on its own. i keep getting this:

    USB Audio Device Properties

    USB Audio Device Properties
    Device status:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}
    The requested operation was unsuccessful.

    Ive heard of DDU, but people say its dangerous and other people say its the only correct way. I just wanna go back to the driver that worked yesterday. Whats the right sequence?? thx in advance!!

    rgb adds +10 fps everyone knows that

  2. oof to stop Windows Update replacing it, use Device Installation Settings > No (System > About > Advanced system settings > Hardware) or the Group Policy "Do not include drivers with Windows Updates" on Pro. good luck man!

  9. DDU isnt dangerous if you use it as intended, in Safe Mode, with a restore point first. The real risk is running it in normal mode with the network on and letting Windows race you to install a driver mid-cleanup.

  11. @elena.banerjee nah thats not it, graphics has nothing to do with it

  12. Roll Back is greyed out when Windows doesnt have teh previous driver package cached. Thats normal, not a sign anything is broken. You can see whats stored with pnputil /enum-drivers and remove a specific package with pnputil /delete-driver oemXX.inf /uninstall. fingers crossed 🤞
