details: a 4K screen next to a 1080p one. it goes black for a moment, comes back, sometimes the windows jump to the main screen. ive rebooted plenty. id love a chekclist rather than random tips, since Ive already tried random tips. i have about an hour tonight to test things, and i would rather go through them in a sensible order lol tell me what you would check first and i will report back with results. thx in advance!!

  6. Sometimes windows jump over, sometimes it's just a blink. It's a 4K screen next to a 1080p one, in case that mattres.

  8. If u're on a USB-C dock, update the dock firmware and teh AMD driver both from their support pages. Docks rely on DisplayPort alt mode and are very sensitive to driver changes. lmk how it goes

  10. Start with refresh rates 😂 Mixed refresh setups are sensitive to drvier changes :) In Settings > System > Display > Advanced display, set both screens to standard rates first (for example both at 60 Hz) and see if the flicker stops. Then raise them one at a time.

  13. lol same thing happened to me if none of that helps, roll back to the previous driver to confirm... if the flicker disappears, report it with your exact setup to the AMD feedback channel and stay on the older driver for now. hope that helps :)

  14. ahh classic if the windows jump to teh main screen, the monitor is actually disconnecting. Thats link training, which can be cable quality, DisplayPort sleep or the dock. Try a certified cable and disable the monitors own deep sleep/auto input switching. worked for me anyway 🤷
