    long time lurker first post lol my setup is a laptop plus an external monitor, and its been rock solid. Since installing AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.2 Hotfix Update , one of the screens randomly blinks black for a split second. Sometimes its every few minutes, sometimes every few seconds.

    its worst when a video is playing on one screen and Im working on the other. different cable, same result. its honestly giving me a headache. is this a known thing with multi-monitor setups after driver updates?

    ahh right sometimes windows jump over, sometimes it's just a blink. It's a laptop plus an external monitor, in case that matters. idk what else to say tbh

    lol same thing happened to me if none of that helps, roll back to the previous driver to confirm. if the flicker disappears, report it with your exact setup to the AMD feedback channel and stay on the older driver for now.

    oh ive been there lol if youre on a USB-C dock, update the dock firmware and the AMD driver both from their support pages. docks rely on DisplayPort alt mode and are very sensitive to driver changes.
