Hibernate Stopped Working After Installing AMD Chipset Drivers

    hmmmm ok since i installed AMD Ryzen Chipset Drivers 8.08.12.551, my laptop wont wake up. before teh update, sleep was boring and perfect. now its a daily surprise. last time i opened the lid there was this:

    ive checked power settings, and nothing obvious changed. im not suree if this is teh chipset driver, Modern Standby, or a BIOS thing. id love a structured way to figure it out instead of trying random tips from ten-year-old forum posts.

    hmmmm quick q what does powercfg /a list as available sleep states?

    sorry forgot to say powercfg /lastwake lists the network adapter as the wake source.

    lol same thing happened to me start with powercfg /a to see which sleep states are available (S3 vs Modern Standby). Then powercfg /lastwake and powercfg /waketimers show what woke the machine. fingers crossed 馃

    on Modern Standby systems, run powercfg /sleepstudy in an admin terminal and open the HTML report. It shows drain per session and which components kept the system active. hope that helps :)
