Connected, but nothing loads. Troubleshoot problems?

    it happened right after installing a new Wi-Fi driver. i can use my phones USB tethering to get online temporarily, so downloading smth is possible. before i start installing random drivers, Id love to know where to get the right one and what to check first. i also wanna avoid those driver updater tools, Ive heard too many horror stories. whats teh cleanest path from here? thx in advance!!

    Use netsh wlan show drivers once the adapter appears.. 👍 it confirms teh driver loaded and shows its version, which helps if you need to report the issue. hope that helps :)

    yeahhh check BIOS/UEFI: wireless can be dsiabled there, and BIOS updates sometiems reset it. Also check for a physical Wi-Fi switch or a function key combo. worked for me anyway 🤷

    oof if the adapter shows up with an error, uinnstall it (tick delete teh driver software), reboot, and let Windows install its inbox driver. then install the makers driver over it. hope that helps :)

    ahh classic do a full power drain: Shift + Shut down, unplug, wait, then boot... wi-Fi modules can get stuck after updtaes, and Fast Startup can keep that state. fingers crossed 🤞

    hmm idk if teh adapter doesnt even show as unknown, Id check BIOS before downloading anything else. just my 2 cents
