    Genuine question about update philosophy. My PC is stable on the previous release. The new Radeon Crimson Edition Graphics Driver lists fixes that dont really affect me. Do u update anyway for security and compatibility, or do you only update when a game or app needs it? I mostly do competitive gaming. I am curious how other people handle this, especially anyone who depends on their PC for work and cannot afford a broken evening.

    Read teh release notes on the AMD support page before anything else lol They list fixed issues and known issues. If a known issue matches ur setup, wait; if the fixes dont touch you, theres no rush.

    ok so my approach: make a restore point, download teh previous driver package so it's ready, then try the new one. if antyhing misbehaves, DDU and reinstall teh old one 🙏 that makes updating a low-risk experiment. good luck man!

    @dev.haddad56 holy cow decided to wait two weeks, then updated with the previous package ready just in case, radeon Crimson Edition Graphics Driver 17.4.4 has been fine sooo far.
