    im literally losing my mind here i play a strategy game every evening on my gaming laptop and know exactly how it should feel. After installing NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 375.57, its noticeably choppier, frame times are all over the place, and tonight it even crashed once:

The game has crashed and will now close.

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
The GPU device instance has been suspended.

    I havent changed any in-game settings 🤦 Temps look normal. Is it possible a driver update makes things this much worse, or am I imagining it? any ideas??

    been there man if measurement confirms a regression, roll back with DDU to the previous driver, and report it to NVIDIA with your GPU, game and settings.

    oh ive been there lol check Power Options: a Windows update or driver installer can switch to Balanced or a battery saver profile. on laptops, also check teh manufacturers performance mode app. fingers crossed 🤞

    hmm idk shader cache rebuilds explain a lot of "driver made it slower" posts... id play three or four sessions before rolling back. just my 2 cents

    rgb adds +10 fps everyone knows that

    @cleob268 Power plan back to High performance and two sessions to rebuild shaders. Stutter is gone on GeForce Graphics Driver 375.57.
