Do creative apps actually care which AMD driver branch I install?? 🤔

    long time lurker first post lol i use my PC for 3D modeling and some gaming, work by day, games at night. AMD offers different driver branches: a gaming-focused one with frequent releases and a more conservaitve one aimed at creators. The Adrenalin 2023 Edition Graphics Driver Im on now is the gaming one. Should i switch? What do i lose and gain? i would appreciate hearing from ppl who switched in either direction and why. pls help 🙏

    Check ur creative app's system requirements page. Some list a minimum driver version for GPU acceleration features 😤 Make sure whichever branch u pick meets that.

    ahh classic broadly: gaming branches ship faster with optimizations for new releases. studio/stable branches ship less often and focus on validtaion with creative apps. both run games and apps fine. the difference is cadence and test focus, not capability. hope that helps :)
