  1. im literally losing my mind here genuine question about update philosophy. my PC is stable on a driver from last year 馃憤 the new Radeon Adrenalin Preview Driver for Fluid Motion Frames 2 lists fixes that dont really affect me 馃敟 do you updtae aynway for security and compatibility, or do you only updtae when a game or app needs it? :/ i mostly do streaming. i am curious how other people handle this, especially anyone who depends on their PC for work and cannot afford a broken eevning.

  4. hmmm driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, sooo i wouldnt stay on a very old version forever, but waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotifx appears is perfectly reasonable. good luck man!

  5. For music, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. If theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually the better fit.

  7. Read the release notes on the AMD supoprt page before anything else. They list fixed issues and known issues. If a known issue matches ur setup, wait; if teh fixes don't touch u, there's no rush.

  9. @socketwrangler omggg read teh known issues and one matched my setup exactly, so i'm staying on a driver from last year for now. Thanks for teh sanity check. seriously made my day 馃槶馃檹
