guys pls help genuine question about updtae philosophy. my PC is stalbe on teh driver my PC came with. the new DirectX 9.0c redistributable lists fixes that don't realy affect me. do you update anyway for security and compatibility, or do you only update when a game or app needs it? i mostly do everyday work. i am curious how other people handle this, especially anyone who depends on their PC for work and cannot afford a broken evening.
DIRECTX 9.0C REDISTRIBUTABLE : WHAT CHANGED FOR YOU, GOOD OR BAD?
ahh classic same issue here on my brand new build. glad im not the only one
oh ive been there lol honestly just reset the thermal paste and save yourself the pain lmk how it goes
it works on my machine™
ahh right the last bad experience was black screens after an update, fixed by going back to the driver my PC came with. idk what else to say tbh
ok so read the release notes on teh Microsoft support page before anything else, they list fixed issues and known issues... if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if teh fixes don't touch you, there's no rush. hope that helps :)

wait any update on this?. lol this thread is gold
have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)
same issue here on my laptop. following this thread
