help!! sooo i currently just use the default gateway from my isp but it's honestly struggling to handle everything when i start spinning up containers.., i was thinking about grabbing a dedicated router but idk if its actually worth the extra hardware cuz i'm on a bit of a budget right now!! anynoe else made teh jump or is teh standard stuff actually enough?? what am i doing wrong??
is it worth getting a dedicated router for a small home lab? 🤔
uhh tbh i totally get the frustration of a sluggish gateway, especially when you start scaling up containers... it can get messy fast lol... im curious about your current setup tho, what kinda hardware are u running right now and whats the main bottleneck u noticed? 😅 like is it just slow speeds overall or is it dropping connections when things get busy?? also knowing what specific OS or stack u are running containers on would help me figrue out if its a routing issue or just a resource limit on teh gateway itself!!
