  1. Question for people who already went through nursing: what did your laptop actually need to do? Course software, battery life in lecture halls, weight in a backpack, all of it. i have roughly 1200 euros and i lean toward a big sharp screen. i'd love to hear what you would buy again and what u regret. Bonus points if u can tell me what you would skip, because every extra feature seems to cost more than it should. thx in advance!!

  2. hmmm avoid teh cheapest models with 8GB and an eMMC or small SSD... they feel fine in the store and miserable a year later with a browser full of tabs and a video call running.

  6. buy the laptop, then spend a bit on a sleeve, a warranty that covers accidents if you are clumsy, and a backup drive or cloud storage... losing a thesis is worse than a slow CPU.

  7. Battery life matters more than benchmarks for students 馃槶 You will sit in lecture halls with two outlets for two hundred people. Look for reviews with real battery tests, not the manufacturer's numbers.

  8. been there man check ur departments software list before buying. Some economics programs need Windows only tools, some need a dedicated GPU, and some run fine in a browser. The syllabus answers this better than any forum.

    lol

  10. ok so prioritise in this order: 16GB of RAM, a dceent SSD (512GB at least), a screen u can look at for hours, then the processor. RAM and storage are the parts that make a laptop feel old in year three, and on many thin laptops they are soldered. worked for me anyway 馃し

  12. hmm idk id actually push for a slightly older but higher tier business laptop, refurbished from a reputable seller. Better keyboard, better build, easier to repair, and they survive backpacks. idk maybe im wrong lol
