audio drift in my nle that gets worse every minute

    so annoyed rn i recorded phone footage and dropped it into my NLE ;) everythings perfectly in sync at teh start, but after 10 minutes the audio is noticeably behind:

    Timeline 1 | 30 fps | 48 kHz

A1  camera
A2  recorder   +8 fr   +16 fr
Clap marks line up at the start, then slowly drift apart

    Cutting and nudging every few minutes is driving me crazy 馃う Is there a real fix for this?

    ive tried re-importing the clip and restarting the editor. the drift is identical every time, slowly growing as the clip goes on 馃槀 i can post media info details if that helps. seriously need help here 馃槶

    ok so for separate audio recorders, drift comes from clock differences between devices. sync at the start, then check the end and adjust audio speed slightly with Change Clip Speed until the end lines up too.

    @regex_deck Matching the timeline to 29.97 fixed it. Can't believe it was that small a difference.
