  1. ok weird one inspired by a coworkers setup, Im thinking about a monitor arm. Before I spend the money, I want to hear teh downsides from people who own one. What annoyed u in the first week? Did u get used to it, or did it end up in a drawer? Bonus points for photos described in words, since I love hearing how people arrange their desks for coding. If you tried a monitor arm and returned it, I want to hear that story too. Negative experiences are just as useful when youre about to spend money. im about to throw this thing out the window lol

  2. for gaming, a keyboard with a layout you like matters more than the switch type. try a few in person if u can.

  3. ok so wired for anything latency-sensitive, wireless for everything else. Modern wireless mice are fine for most ppl, but keep a cable handy.

  5. A monitor arm is teh most underrated upgrade. Getting the top of the screen at eye level fixed my neck more than any chair did.

  6. id challenge the monitor arm first idea. if ur desk is shallow, a simple riser does teh same job for much less effort.
