  1. help!! hi admins! Love the forum, reporting a bug. Every time i open my notifications page in Vivaldi on an older laptop, the tab dies with this.

reloading sometimes works, sometimes not. other sites are fine. i can try other settings or browsers if it helps narrow it down. thanks for all the work u put into this place. let me know what else would help.

  2. oof aw, Snap! usually means the tab ran out of memory or a renderer process crashed. open teh browsers task manager (Shift + Esc in Chromium browsers) while loading my notifications page and watch the memory column.

  6. Try turinng off hardware acceleration in the browser settings, restart the browser and test again. GPU driver issues can crash renderer processes on image heavy pages.

  7. ahh classic check the console for errors: press F12, open the Console tab, then load the page, if it crashes too fast, teh browsers crash list at chrome://crashes may show entries for teh crash. fingers crossed 馃

  8. For the admins, teh most useful info is: browser version from teh About page, the exact URL type, roughly how many posts or images were on the page, and whether it happens in a guest window too.

  9. ahh classic on ROG Ally, memory is often the real limit 馃憤 closing other tabs bfeore opening heavy pages helps, but a page that needs that much memory is worth reoprting either way. hope that helps :)

  10. ok so test in a guest or incognito window with extensions disabled. If it works there, an extension is the cause. Ad blockers and grammar checkers interact with large pages more than ppl expect.

  11. might also be worth a moderator setting: limiting images per page or lazy loading them would help people on ROG Ally regardless of the bug. just my 2 cents
