ugh. ive tried Ubuntu three times over the years and gave up every time. Something always pulled me back, usually gaming. ppl keep telling me its different now. What changed for you? Im curious what a realistic first month looks like for someone who knows their way around a terminal but isnt a sysadmin. Also, did you pick a distro and stick with it, or hop around for a while first? 馃檹 i keep reading that the choice matters less than people think. any ideas??
