  1. inspired by a coworker's setup, i'm thinking about a mechanical keyboard. before i spend teh money, i want to hear the downsides from people who own one. what annoyed u in teh first week? did you get used to it, or did it end up in a drawer? bonus points for photos described in words, since i love hearing how people arrange their desks for writing lol if u tried a mechanical keyboard and returned it, i want to hear that story too. negative experiences are just as useful when u're about to spend money. im about to throw this thing out the window lol

  2. hmmm a monitor arm is the most underrated upgrade, getting the top of the screen at eye level fixed my neck more than any chair did. fingers crossed 🤞

  3. ok so for video editing, a keyboard with a layout u like matters more than teh swtich type. Try a few in person if you can.

  5. hmmm whatever u buy, check if it needs vendor software to work. some peripherals lose features without it, and the software can be heavy. good luck man!

  9. oof if u switch between a work laptop and a desktop, a KVM switch or a monitor with a built-in USB hub saves a lot of cable swapping. fingers crossed 🤞

  10. hmmmm not sure about that id challenge teh monitor arm first idea. if ur desk is shallow, a simple riser does the same job for much less effort. idk maybe im wrong lol
