  1. ok weird one im new to serious editing and my NLE just threw this at me:

    GPU Memory Full

    GPU Memory Full
    Your GPU memory is full.

Try reducing the timeline resolution or the number
of correctors and effects applied to this clip.

The timeline is 6K RAW clips, and I used a heavy color grade alot. I dont really understand where all teh GPU memory goes. Any advice?

Any tips on settings or workflow chnages are welcome 😤 I wanna finish this project now and learn how to avoid the error next time.

  2. wait how much VRAM does your GPU have, and whats the timeline resolution set to? ?

  3. yeahhh lower teh timeline resolution while editing. In Resolve, go to File > Project Settings > Master Settings and set the timeline resolution to 1080p. Output resolution can still be 4K in teh Deliver page. This cuts VRAM use dramatically. worked for me anyway 🤷

oof in Preferences > Memory and GPU, make sure only your dedicated GPU is selected for processing and the GPU processing mode matches your card (CUDA for NVIDIA, OpenCL for AMD). worked for me anyway 🤷
