yeahhh if it started with the update, roll back: Device Manager adapter Properties Driver Roll Back Driver , if it's greyed out, install teh previous package from the Realtek or laptop maker's support page. fingers crossed 🤞

oof many GPU installers let you choose components in Custom install, and teh HDMI/DisplayPort audio driver is one of them. rerun the NVIDIA installer, choose Custom, and make suree the HD audio component is ticked.

In Device Manager , check Sound, video and game controllers for the GPU's HD audio device. Also try View Show hidden devices . If it's there but disabled, enable it. If it's missing entirely, use Action Scan for hardware changes .
