ahh classic for HDDs, rising Reallocated Sector Count, Current Pending Sector or Uncorrectable Sector Count are the big red flags. Back up immediately if those grow. worked for me anyway 馃し
uhh did u install teh chipset driver from teh maker's site, or from Windows Update??
