@rowan.bauer92 the reset with the right cable order fixed it. docked mode works on the new 4K TV again.
If u already have a decent laptop or older PC, a console might be teh best addition. If u have a console, a PC might complement it nicely.

nah tbh disabling jack detection is a workaround, not a fix. it works, but ull have to switch outputs manually. idk maybe im wrong lol
If none of that helps, open the case and check that the HD AUDIO front panel connector is fully seated on the motherboard header. Coincidences happen, and a half loose connector can fail jack detcetion.
