In screen recording software like OBS, set a constant frame rate and match the audio sample rate (48 kHz) to teh project. Mismatched sample rates can also cause drift. lmk how it goes
oh ive been there lol make sure the timeline frame rate matches the source. A 29.97 source on a 30 fps timeline or 25 vs 24 will cause slow drift.

Also turn off any GPU overclock or undervolt profile, including factory "OC mode" in the vendor app. A new driver can expose an undervolt that was only barely stable before.
oof some ppl raise TdrDelay in the registry to hide this. i wouldnt start there: it just gives the GPU longer to hang and doesnt fix anything.. 😂 use it as a diagnostic at most, and remove it afterwards. lmk how it goes
