ahh classic lower teh timeline resolution while editing. in Resolve, go to File Project Settings Master Settings and set the timeline resolution to 1080p... output resolution can still be 4K in the Deliver page.. xD this cuts VRAM use…
i swear vram is cursed
ok so close other GPU heavy apps like browsers with hardware acceleration, games or other editors. They all share the same VRAM.
hmmm in zsh, setopt HIST VERIFY does the same, and pressing Tab right after !! expands it in place sooo u can check it first. hope that helps :) have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)
Id try one older driver before doing DDU 😂 If the older one is stable, youve proven its driver related in ten minutes.
oh ive been there lol do a clean install of the driver version you trust: download it from the ASRock support page, disconnect the network, boot to Safe Mode, run DDU, reboot, install. Then test a dinosaur survival game for a few sessions…
hmm idk respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made notebook worse idk maybe im wrong lol
ok so for playing in bed, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. if theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually the better fit. fingers crossed 🤞
