@byte forge cleaning helped a bit, but i ended up repasting after measuring the pads. Gap is now back to what it was when new. Took my time and it went fine. seriously made my day 😭🙏

oh ive been there lol in teh adapters Advanced tab, try setting teh preferred band to 5 GHz or disabling roaming aggressiveness if available. worked for me anyway 🤷

oh ive been there lol my unpopular opinion: most performance complaints come from too many startup apps and browser extensions, not old hadrware, check Task Manager Startup apps before buying anything new. good luck man!
