ahh classic whatever u choose, enable XMP or EXPO in the BIOS afterwards... alot of new systems, prebuilt and self built, run their RAM at a slower default speed.
In game limiters are often the lowest latency option cuz teh game knows when to start teh next frame. The driver limiter is a good second choice. External tools like RTSS give very stable frame times but can add a little latency. fingers…
oof uncapped can reduce latency in some competitive games when the frame rate is far above refresh, but only if the GPU isnt maxed out lol A GPU at 99% usage queues fraems and actually increases latency 🤷 Reflex or Anti Lag help with that.
oof extract the package, copy teh folder with the .inf, .sys and .cat files to the install USB, then in setup click Load driver Browse and seelct that folder. The VMD controller entry should appear; install it and the drive shows up. lmk…
hmmm first rule out the obviuos: on laptops, check that the game actually uses the dedicated GPU. Settings System Display Graphics , add the games .exe, set it to High performance . Driver updates can reset per app GPU preferences. hope…
oh ive been there lol if installing teh older package over the top complains about a newer version, that's exactly the case for DDU. installers refuse downgrades but are fine on a clean system.
