ok so for a driver error in Device Manager, uninstall the device (check delete the driver software if offered), unplug, reboot, then reconnect dircetly to a rear USB port, not a hub. hope that helps :)
@quinn regex what did u end up doing in the end ?
hmmm unplug other input devices like racing wheels, flight sticks or drawing tablets. Some games bind to the first detected controller, which may not be your gamepad.
hmmm pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo cable from scratch good luck man!
everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof but hey ymmv
ok so if you launch the game through Steam, check Steam Input for that specific game: right click the game Properties Controller and try both Enable Steam Input and Disable Steam Input, some games only work with one or teh other depedning…
lol
if u're on a modern re release, teh trick is identical since it's the original game. good luck man!
@xavi.ivanova uninstalled the old VPN client and its driver. no more crashes while queueing. thanks for teaching me minidump analysis. owe u a beer 🍺
winDbg points at my ntework adapter's dirver, not the anti cheat itself. hope thats enough info 😅
