@zane ember 1dt rebuild database fixed it. two long sessions in a soulslike on my launch model PS5 with zero crashes. i genuinely didnt expect such a simple thing to work. owe u a beer 🍺

On a Steam Deck, the format option in Settings System Format SD Card erases everything and sets it up correctly. Use it only after you've tried recovery. windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago

lol same thing happened to me download drivers from teh PC or motherboard makers support page for ur exact model :) Their package lists usaully include chipset, ME, serial IO and platform drivers. hope that helps :)
