Activating a venv only changes PATH in your interactive shell. Services, cron and IDE run configs do not inherit that. For systemd set ExecStart=/opt/app/venv/bin/python app.py (or venv/bin/gunicorn), and for cron use the full path too.
ok so install order for a fresh setup: chipset first, then storage, then network, then GPU and audio. That avoids dependencies installing in the wrong order. worked for me anyway 🤷
on many platforms, the chipset package is mostly INF files that give devices proper names and correct power settings. windows often provides equivalent inbox drivers. but some platforms include real drivers (power management, PCIe, I/O)…
@ines socket omggg it was power. A powered hub for a keyobard fixed it completely lol the driver update was just coicnidence.
