oh ive been there lol going forward, you can usually disable automatic updates in the companion app, or simply not connect the appliance at all if you don't use the smart features. The basic functions keep working offline on most models.

Low res mode is the right first step, but some displays also need to be power cycled after teh console changes mode. Unplug the TV for a minute too. idk maybe im wrong lol

hmmm remove any GPU overclock and memory overclock. Device removed errors are very sensitive to VRAM instability. If u used a tuning tool, reset it to defaults and also check that no profile reapplies at startup. lmk how it goes
