sorry forgot to say after a power drain, it worked for a day, then failed again.

as a last resort u can extract teh package and install the INF manually: Device Manager Update driver Browse my computer Let me pick Have Disk , or pnputil /add driver <path \ .inf /install, if teh INF doesnt list ur hardware ID, tho,…
