ok so shut down fully and drain power: unplug the PC (or hold the power button on a lapotp with the charger disconnected) for a minute. code 43 sometimes clears after the device is fully power cycled. worked for me anyway 🤷

After resotring the driver, check Settings Bluetooth & devices Touchpad and re enable tap to click in the gesture settings. Updates can reset these preferences too. lmk how it goes
