been there man do a clean driver install: download the current driver from your GPU vendor, boot to Safe Mode, run DDU, then install... also remove overlay/recording tools temporarily, they hook into the same rendering path. hope that…
@pia lucky got a powered hub and moved teh drive to a rear port. zero disconnects for a week. the drive was clearly pulling too much through teh passive hub.
hub is bus powered only, plugged into a front port. the external drive is a 2.5" HDD with no separate power. the webcam is also on the hub, so it's quite loaded. Report back with what you find.
oof for me it was the DNS. swapped it and boom, fixed
Check the srever log while you try to connect: sudo journalctl u ssh f (or u sshd on RHEL family, /var/log/auth.log on older Debian/Ubuntu). it says exactly why: bad ownership, wrong user, key type not accepted.
been there man in CI, private keys pasted as secrets often lose the trailing newline or get CRLF line endings. Make sure the key file ends with a newline and has 600 permissions, or teh client silently skips it.
honestly just reset teh firmware and save yourself teh pain hope that helps :)
so annoyed rn reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets
lol same thing happened to me for color work, look for factory calibration reports and sRGB coverage from independent reviews. use the sRGB mode if teh screen has a wide gamut, otherwise colors look oversaturated. lmk how it goes
im literally losing my mind here my work pc is officially haunted. is 1440p even worth bothering with or should i just leave it im about to throw this thing out the window lol
omggg ok update: did what @dtanaka 20 said and its fine now thank u thank u thank u
if Windows Update keeps replacing it, hide the driver update or disable automatic driver updates via Device Installation Settings. hope that helps :)
