oof if ure on a VPN or custom DNS, try without it once. Some CDNs serve broken or blocked chunks through certain routes, and teh launcher reports it as a generic update failure.
disk write errors usually mean the launcher cant write to the floder, not that the disk is full. check that your antivirus (including Windows Defenders Controlled folder access ) isnt blocking the launcher lmao add the launcher executable…

been there man look in Event Viewer System for disk, stornvme, storahci or iaStorAC warnings like reset to devcie or I/O retried . Those point at driver or hardware timeouts. RAM prices doing their own thing again smh
