nah tbh i would not return over one crash :) every new Windows machine has a messy first day of updates. returning it just gets you another unit with teh same factory image and teh same first day mess. but hey ymmv

Gaming laptops are heavier and noisier, but they offer a bigger screen and keyboard. If u also work on the dveice, a laptop might be the better choice.

Battery life on handhelds depends a lot on the game. Lowering teh frame rate cap and TDP can extend it a lot. hope that helps :)
