yeahhh reserve space for anything that loads late :) Give images and iframes width and height attributes or CSS aspect ratio. For ad slots and embeds, set a min height on the container matching teh expected size. lmk how it goes

oh ive been there lol run the built in repair tools from an admin terminal: DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth then sfc /scannow. restart and try the update again.

for me it was the default config. swapped it and boom, fixed the real fix was the friends we made along the way

some vendor audio suites have their own jack detection or device toggle that overrides Windows... open teh vendors console app (if installed) and check whetehr teh mic input is disabled or reassigned there. worked for me anyway 🤷
