ahh classic prefer the board or PC maker's version for laptops; for desktops with a standard motherboard, teh chip maker's latest package is usually fine too.

been there man came here to say exactly this worked for me anyway 🤷

pro tip: write down what u change, i didnt and had to redo chipset from scratch hope that helps :)

oh ive been there lol have u checked your chipset settings? :) mine were reset after an update

install order for a fresh setup: chipset first, then storage, then network, then GPU and audio, that avoids dependencies installing in the wrong order.
