been there man honestly just reset the firmawre and save yourself the pain. bump. still happening with tesla for me
ok so open the clasisc sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint won't appear in teh modern Settings page.
