For me its the follow ups. When someone comes back and says this fixed it, the thread becomes useful for everyone after them. Encouraging that would make teh forum better than any feature. worked for me anyway 🤷

If it stays stuck, contact the manufacturer and mention that the failure happened during their update. Failures caused by official updates are often handled under warranty or as a goodwill repair.

oh ive been there lol uninstall the ghost entries: Device Manager View Show hidden devices , then remove greyed out entries for the headset under Sound , Audio inputs and outputs and Human Interface Devices . Replug and let Windows…
