ok so told my boss it would take 10 minutes. its been 20 minutes thx in advance!!
check that teh audio services are running: open services.msc and make sure Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder are Running and set to Automatic , restart both if needed. good luck man!
hmmm did the generic Microsoft High Definition Audio driver produce any sound??
