For me a remake works when it keeps the core loop and changes teh presentation. Once the pacing or structure changes, it's a reimagining and should be judged as its own game. worked for me anyway 🤷

lol same thing happened to me look at what teh remake changes in accsesibility and quality of life. saves, difficulty options and controls are often the biggest improvements for older party games.
