for me it was the extension. swapped it and boom, fixed
dumb question but how do i even check the cable

nah tbh respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made online worse just my 2 cents
oof clear teh shader cache after a driver change.. :) on AMD, use Reset Shader Cache in Adrenalin. on NVIDIA, delete the contents of %LOCALAPPDATA%\NVIDIA\DXCache while no games are running. fingers crossed 🤞
