@lucky fox 31v dude rolled back in Device Manager and sound came back instantly on teh desk speakers. Hid the update sooo it doesn't sneak back. Thank you! u guys are the best!!!
hmmm from the recovery environment ( Troubleshoot Advanced options ), try Uninstall Updates first if it was delivered through Windows Update, then System Restore if any point exists. Restore points are often created automatically before…
