nah tbh respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made retro worse. try turning off teh driver first, fixed it for me

if one heavy device like wireless mouse drops out, try a powered hub. some ports cant supply enough current, and that can look exactly like a driver problem. fingers crossed 🤞
