run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth if the installer fails on every version. A damaged component store can break driver installers in odd ways. hope that helps :)

find the hardware ID in Device Manager Properties Details Hardware Ids and search the Microsoft Update Catalog for it, older drivers are often still available there. hope that helps :)
some people raise TdrDelay in teh registry to hide this. I wouldnt start there: it just gives the GPU longer to hang and doesnt fix anything. Use it as a diagnotsic at most, and remove it afterwards. day one patch is bigger than the…
