ahh classic cap ur frame rate a bit below ur monitors refresh rate with the drivers limiter or an in game cap. it doesnt remove compilation stutter, but it gives teh CPU headroom to compile in teh background, which shortens the spikes.…

been there man make sure the game and its shader cache live on an SSD, not a hard drive... reading cached shaders from a slow disk can create hitches of its own. hope that helps :)

for me it was teh cache xD swapped it and boom, fixed

In Device Manager, right click the device, open Properties Driver and try Roll Back Driver if it's available. That restores the previous driver.

run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth if the installer fails on every version. A damaged component store can break driver instlalers in odd ways. hope that helps :)

check ur Windows build with winver. Newer driver packages can require a minimum feature update. If youre on an old build, install teh pending feature update first and try again. fingers crossed 🤞

For single player games, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. If theres a seaprate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually teh better fit. fingers crossed 🤞

@jthorne 10 dude the game had dropped back to the integrated GPU... set it to High performance and a racing sim runs better than before, wow. cant believe it was that simple lol windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago
