@kofif316 omggg set up automatic daily backups plus a monthly drive I swap with my parents. tested a restore and it worked 🤦 sleeping better now. u guys are the best!!!

oof in Device Manager, open the network adapters properties and turn off Allow this device to wake the computer on the Power Management tab. Network activity is a common cause of drain. worked for me anyway 🤷 this vid explains it way…

@malikt624 Moved the a weather API call to a small serverless function sooo the secret key stays private. No CORS problem and a security hole closed. thx!

yeah so its a third party, a weather API. Their docs mention a server side key, which Ive been putting in frontend code..... oops. sorry for the wall of text lol

@esme byte did u ever fix it?... make a backup before u touch teh settings, learned that the hard way ??

u can sometimes open the installer or teh discs data files with 7 Zip and copy the game files manually, skipping the old setup program.
