ok so my approach: make a restore point, download the previous driver package sooo it's ready, then try the new one, if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one... that makes updating a low risk experiment. hope that helps :)
try turning off the antivirus first, fixed it for me lmk how it goes
